I wish to share my experience with Ashley Collins from First National when we were selling my Father's retirement village unit.

Ashley came highly recommended by my Father's neighbour who just bought the unit next to my Fathers' and said that Ashley was so helpful.

My Father was moving into a nursing home and we needed a speedy sale. When Ashley first came to meet my Father and myself, he was well dressed and very professional which is very important to my Father being old schooled. He was not pushy and patiently listened to my Father, which was very important as this was a huge move for my Dad.

Ashley explained the process we needed to go through, he was very honest about everything as selling a unit in a retirement village is not like selling other properties due to the smaller market we would be aiming at.

Ashley also got me contact numbers for gardeners to help clear the property, which l feel is over and beyond his role.

Once the unit was on the market Ashley kept me informed of what was happening. I had confidence in Ashley due to his experience and professional manner. He would let me know of any interest he had in the unit and also let me know when there were no enquiries about the unit.

Once we found a buyer, Ashley's contact with us did not stop. He continued to let us know what was happening in regards to paperwork and kept us informed of any delays that he was aware of.

Once the sale went through Ashley again contacted us to make sure everything was going well and that Dad had settled in well into his new home.

I found this stressful time much easier to handle due to Ashley's calm and caring manner.

Both my Father and l would like to thank Ashley for all his hard work and appreciate eveything he did for us.
